Overall 69% of students achieved three D* to D (equivalent to three A* to A at A Level) The Grange 6th Form’s top performers did exceptionally well with four of our Business Studies students achieving Triple Distinction* (D*) results. The triple distinctions are equivalent to three A* at A Level and the students are to be warmly congratulated for their hard work and outstanding success. Alex Cripps, Jordon Pierce, Jake Neville and Lois Simmons.  In Health and Social Care three of our students achieved D*D*D equivalent to A*A*A at A Level. These students are also to be commended for their hard work and excellent success: Emily Byrne, Jazmine Collins and Olivia Morris. All of our students have progressed onto University, Higher Apprenticeships or jobs with training.  Degrees in Paramedic Science and Psychology, Accountancy Apprenticeships and job offers from international companies such as Volkswagon being among the notable successes.  A number of students have also achieved employment offers following excellent work experience with our partner employers. We are absolutely delighted with the success of all our students, and are particularly pleased that they all have progressed onto a career of their choice. We wish them well in the future and look forward to hearing about their continued success. A big thank you must also go to the staff and parents without whose support and dedication these outstanding results would not have been possible. From September we are introducing a new Level 3 Engineering BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma designed in partnership with local employers. The course offers students the opportunity to develop knowledge of the different engineering sectors through a flexible approach including up to 6 weeks work experience. Content will be tailored to meet the interests of the students and will be studied both in the classroom and whilst on work placement. The course will offer students the opportunity to progress onto an apprenticeship or undertake further study at university.
