Learning From Home

Firstly, please don't worry about your attendance. We have a special code for this and your attendance will not decrease while the school is shut. The priorities for us are to make sure that you are safe and well, and to give you opportunities to carry on learning while you can't come to school.

We will keep emailing your parents to keep them up to date with what is happening, and will make sure we let you know when we are able to re-open the school. A member of staff, for example your tutor or Head of Year, will also ring you once per week to make sure that everything is OK with you and your family.

Microsoft Teams - 30/04/2020

Parents and students have been emailed today regarding the roll out of Microsoft Teams. Please see Mr Bruchez's PowerPoint below which will talk you through how to access this and what to do if you encounter any problems along the way.

Emails and School Work

Teachers of Sixth Form students will email work directly to them. Where they have used the Gateway or another online resource, they will already have let you know about this.

For Years 7-11, we have set work using the Student Gateway.

If you don't have access to a laptop or computer, please don't worry. We asked your parents to let us know about this and we have already printed the work for you. If you weren't at school, it can be collected from Reception or found below.

Learning from Home

We appreciate that it can be difficult to support your child's learning from home. Students have been given clear instructions and expectations (below) around what they should be doing and we have currently provided enough work for all year groups to fill the next two weeks. More work will be provided as the length of the closure becomes clearer.

Life outside of School Work

Other than keeping up with your school work, it is really important that you look after yourself. You can do this in lots of ways, for example making sure that you carry on with things you enjoy, like playing football in the garden, or reading a good book, or just going for a long walk with your family.
