Successful Open Evening

The Grange School were delighted to welcome such a large group of Year 6 students and their families to the school on Tuesday night for a wonderful evening of discovery.

Families were welcomed in the hall by the Head Boy and Head girl and a number of their classmates who gave really useful presentations about what it's really like to attend The Grange School.  Mrs Garman, Head of School, also gave a warm welcome to everyone.

We were treated to wonderful musical performance and everyone had the opportunity to sample our fabulous school catering - the homemade traybakes were very popular!

Staff had gone the extra mile to put on showcases of their subjects; students and staff were waiting to talk our visitors through the great opportunities available at The Grange School.  Our guests got to try their hand at a whole range of activities - we even had a tent pitched in one of the classrooms as part of the DofE stand and there were quite a few pink cheeked children arriving back in the hall after having been put through their paces on the gym equipment!

We look forward to welcoming many of you back in September when you start your induction for Year 7 but, in the mean time, if anyone missed the Open Evening or wants another look at the school, there are a number of tour dates on our events list.  Alternatively, please do feel free to phone the school office and arrange a visit that suits you.
