In-Year Applications (Year 7-11)
We are an Academy that processes its own In-Year admissions, therefore if you wish to apply for a school place please fill in our admissions application form.
If you wish to make an enquiry or require further information please complete the enquiry form below and our admissions team will
respond to you within 10 school days to guide you through the next stage in the admissions process.
Following submission of an application form, in accordance with the School Admissions Code 2021, the School will respond to In-Year applications within 15 school days.
In-Year Appeals

Y7 September 2025 New Intake Admissions
New Intake Admissions are dealt with by the Local Education Authority. Applications can be made by post, or online by visiting the BCP Council website here.
The deadline for applications for Year 7 for September 2026 is 31st October 2025.
All applications for Year 7 starting in September 2026 must be submitted to the child's home Local Authortiy by 31st October 2025.
Any applications received after 31st October 2025 will be considered as a late application and will not be considered until after offers are made on 2nd March 2026.
Notifications to parents offering a secondary school place will be sent out on 2nd March 2026.
Open Events 2025
We were absolutely delighted to welcome so many parents, carers, and prospective students to our Open Evening on Thursday 25th September 2025.
The evening was a fantastic opportunity for visitors to explore our vibrant school community, meet our passionate staff, and experience the wide range of subjects and enrichment opportunities we offer at The Grange School.
From interactive classroom activities and student-led tours to inspiring talks from our Acting Head of School, Mrs Laura Concar, the event truly showcased the energy, ambition, and care that define our school.
We’d like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening such a success. Your enthusiasm and interest mean a great deal to us, and we hope you left feeling excited about the possibilities ahead.

'School in Action' Tours
This is an opportunity for you to book to visit the The Grange School site. This does not include a formal presentation but an opportunity for you and your child to visit the school during a 'normal working day'. Open Mornings and afternoons will run during September and October and are available to book here now.
Tour Dates:
- 2-3pm Tuesday 14th October
- 9-10am Monday 20th October
