Assessment:

There will be two internal assessments (component 1 and 2) which will be through assignments and one external assessments which will be in the form of a set task by the exam board (component 3).

Who is the course for?

This course is for students who have an interest in the Travel and Tourism and who may consider a career in the travel and tourism sector. The course can help you take your first steps towards a career in retail or business travel.

You'll learn essential skills such as business awareness, customer service and understanding destinations in the UK and worldwide.

What will I do on the course?

Students will look at the UK Travel and Tourism sector and the many different types of tourism in The UK, as well as the contribution that travel and tourism makes to the UK economy.

The course gives learners the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of, and develop skills in, the travel and tourism sector

There will be opportunities to visit local businesses throughout the course to provide students with hands on experiences of the Travel and Tourism industry.
