This one year course is equivalent to 1 A Level2195 The Grange 041 and one AS level and is particularly appropriate for learners who are interested in progressing on to an Engineering Apprenticeship.

The course has been developed to allow students to pursue a career in Engineering and associated fields such as Aircraft Maintenance and Electronic Engineering.

What grades do I need?

You will need 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4, including Maths and English.

Will I have to take any exams?

No. This course is 100% portfolio based. You will complete 3 mandatory and 5 optional units, one of which will be completed during work experience.

However, this course does contain a skills test.
